A handful of notable price drops landed this week across Apple audio hardware and Nintendo's Switch 2.
Amazon dropped the AirPods Pro 3 to $179 — down $70 from its $249 list price, and a new all-time low. The AirPods Max 2 is also at a record low of $499, down $50 from $549, across all five colors. On the gaming side, Woot is offering $15 off the Switch 2 (bringing it to $434) via code NEW15 at checkout — but only for first-time Woot customers. Sonos is running a summer sale with up to 25% off speakers, soundbars, and subwoofers.
The Switch 2 discount is the more time-sensitive item here: Nintendo has confirmed a $50 price increase takes effect in September, so the window to buy at the current $449 base price — let alone $434 — is shrinking. The AirPods deals are pure commodity discounts, but $179 for the Pro 3 is the lowest it has been since launch.
The Sonos sale is framed around Father's Day shopping, which is marketing language for "we need to move inventory" — worth checking if you were already in the market, less so if you weren't.
