The AirPods 4 without active noise cancellation are $99 at Amazon today, down $30 from their $129 list price.
Apple's entry-level AirPods 4 have periodically touched the $99 mark during sale windows, and this brings them squarely there again. The ANC version has also been cut, from $179 to $148.99. Both run on Apple's H2 chip and share the same core feature set: Voice Isolation for calls, Siri with head-gesture controls (nod to accept, shake to decline), in-ear detection for automatic playback, and Find My support. Battery life is rated at five hours per charge and 30 hours total with the case.
The timing matters more than the discount itself. Prime Day is roughly a week away, but Apple products historically do not get meaningfully cheaper during the event — Amazon tends to match or slightly undercut its own pre-Prime pricing, not blow past it. If you are waiting for a better number, you are probably waiting for nothing.
Five hours of listening per charge is on the lean side for 2026; Sony and Jabra offer noticeably longer stamina at comparable prices. The $99 AirPods 4 make sense if you are already deep in the Apple ecosystem — for everyone else, the spec sheet is a harder sell.
