Apple Card is running a limited-time promotion that awards bonus Uber Cash on qualifying purchases.
The offer kicked off June 4 and adds bonus Uber Cash on eligible purchases, on top of whatever cardholders already earn from their standard rewards. Apple's promotional calendar has included similar partner tie-ins before - periodic boosts tied to specific services designed to steer cardholder spending in a particular direction. Uber Cash is redeemable across Uber's platform - rides, Uber Eats, and related apps - which means the bonus effectively deposits rewards inside two separate ecosystems at once.
Rotating partner promotions are how Apple Card competes against flat-rate cards that quietly return 2% or more on every dollar, no activation required. A temporary Uber Cash bump sounds useful, but "eligible purchases" is the qualifier that almost always shrinks the apparent value - and Uber Cash is only genuinely useful if Uber is already a fixture in your week.
Apple Card's pitch has always leaned on ecosystem lock-in over raw reward rates. This promotion extends that logic outward, but it also depends on cardholders skipping the back-of-envelope math against a simpler cash-back alternative.
