These are over-ear Bluetooth headphones with active noise cancellation, Bluetooth 5.3, and a battery rated at 70 hours with ANC on — stretching to 100 hours without it. The build leans hard into Marshall's amplifier aesthetic: textured earcups, gold accents, replaceable ear cushions, and a swappable silicone headband strap. They fold into an included hard case and handle audio via AAC and SBC codecs only, so hi-res Bluetooth is off the table. A single USB-C port does double duty for charging and wired playback, which means you can't do both at once.
At $380, these headphones were an awkward sell against Sony's WH-1000XM series and Bose's QuietComfort line — both of which have stronger noise cancellation and broader codec support. At $230, the calculus shifts. The 70-hour ANC battery undercuts most rivals on endurance, and the repairability details — swappable cushions, replaceable strap — are a genuine differentiator in a category where most headphones are landfill-bound after two years. Noise cancellation is decent on low-frequency rumble but reportedly trails Bose on midrange chatter.
Marshall is still selling a look as much as a product, and buyers who don't care about hi-res codecs or gym use will get more headphone than the price suggests — everyone else has better-spec'd options at similar money.
