Amazon's four-day Prime Day sale doesn't start until June 23, but noise-cancelling headphone deals are already at record lows.
The Apple AirPods Pro 3 fell to $179, down $70 from its $249 list price, a record low for the earbuds. The Sony WH-1000XM6, the company's current flagship over-ear, is at $398, discounted across all five colorways. Bose's QuietComfort Ultra is at $329, down $100. At the budget end, CMF by Nothing's Buds 2 are $23.27, and the mid-range Nothing Headphone (a) is at $151.
The AirPods Pro 3 case is the most straightforward: $179 gets you flagship-class noise cancellation, live translation, and a built-in heart rate monitor, all additions new to the third generation. The Sony XM6 is a murkier proposition. At $398, they sit $120 above the discounted XM5s, and reviewers have found the two models difficult to tell apart - folding ear cups are a real convenience, but probably not a $120 convenience for anyone who already owns a pair.
Amazon has made the pre-Prime Day warm-up a reliable annual tradition, which means the deals are genuine but so is the risk that waiting for June 23 leaves you looking at a sold-out listing.
